杨竞

杨竞,男,2015年入职北京大学生命科学学院助理教授,并受聘北京大学清华生命科学联合中心和IDG麦戈文脑科学研究所研究员。他的研究领域主要集中在神经科学,特别是神经退行性疾病和代谢调控机制等前沿领域的基础和应用研究。杨竞教授已在《细胞》(细胞)、《神经元》(Neuron)等国际著名学术期刊上发表论文十余篇,并在2015年获得国家中华人民共和国国家自然科学基金委员会“优秀青年科学基金”。

个人经历

杨竞教授于2003年在赵进东院士的指导下,于北京大学生命科学学院获得生物科学学士。随后,他在美国得克萨斯大学西南医学中心师从诺贝尔奖得主Michael Brown和Joseph Goldstein,于2009年获得生物医学博士学位。在获得博士学位后,杨竞教授在美国基因泰克公司和洛克菲勒大学从事博士后研究,直至2015年加入北京大学生命科学学院。在学术成就方面,杨竞教授曾获得Tri-Institutional Breakout Prize、“求是”杰出青年学者奖等多项学术奖项。
